How Should You Quit Marijuana?

I used to smoke marijuana myself, for well over 10 years.

I did quit eventually, and for me I think it was a pretty difficult thing to do. I had a timely pre-planned holiday overseas, which certainly helped me avoid temptation, and I quit weed completely with marijuana detox.

But the main reason I finally quit weed was because I had to. The fear of smoking weed finally outweighed the fear of quitting weed. I was pro-active and went all out trying anything, eventually quitting successfully with marijuana detoxification.

So trust me, I’m not being rude when I ask, If you smoke weed, Why do you smoke it?

People answer this differently. Some people will say they only smoke for fun and that they are not addicted. While most long time users report they smoke because of their cravings for marijuana, and that they are addicted. It’s true that marijuana is addictive, both physically and emotionally.

Although a marijuana addiction is very real, this negative focus that long time smokers are having can actually make quitting marijuana more difficult to do. It’s a sub conscious thing. Concentrating on the problem instead of the solution is a bad strategy when it comes to any addiction. Many people do this. They would like to stop smoking weed, yet constantly focus on what a strong addiction they have or how bad their life has become because of it.

Yes, if you quit weed you will have cravings and experience withdrawals. But that’s not the hardest part. The first strength you will need to develop is to concentrate less on your marijuana addiction and more on positive consequences. This way you will be more able to avoid temptation when it comes up. In reality, nothing can stop you from quitting weed. cbd köln

If you do need to quit marijuana I suggest to you that it is mostly mind over matter. Focus on the positive and you should be able to do it. If you are experiencing marijuana withdrawals or physical addictions I suggest going through a marijuana detox, that is what I did and I know it worked for me. I am certainly glad to be off marijuana now.
